Justice in Action: Class XI-D’s Moot Court Experience

As part of the Experiential Learning Programme, Class XI-D participated in an engaging Moot Court on the constitutional debate, “Should educational qualification be mandatory for electoral candidates?” The activity recreated a courtroom with judges, advocates, petitioners, respondents, witnesses, and court staff. Through compelling arguments, students explored democratic principles, equality, justice, and citizens’ rights. The judges questioned both sides before delivering a balanced verdict. The activity provided students with practical insights into judicial procedures and constitutional values. It also enhanced their confidence, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, logical reasoning, and public-speaking skills, making learning meaningful, interactive, and enriching.
