A Glimpse into the World of Media: Educational Visit to Noida’s Leading News Studios On 30th July 2025, our students embarked on an enriching educational excursion to Film City, visiting the prominent media houses—Times Now and Nav Bharat—in Noida. The experience offered an insightful behind-the-scenes look into the fast-paced and dynamic world of television journalism. A highlight was witnessing live newsrooms in action. The students observed news anchors adeptly using teleprompters, demonstrating the precision, composure, and skill required during live broadcasts. Students also toured various departments, including editing and sound studios, gaining a holistic view of how content is curated and transmitted to the public. The excursion proved to be an inspiring journey, sparking curiosity about media careers and offering appreciation for the news industry.

Rwandan Genocide Commemoration Day

On April 7th, Learners of Grade X and XII visited Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, to attend the Rwandan Genocide Commemoration Day. Students presented four powerful paintings, each capturing the pain, resilience, and humanity behind the tragedy. The art work was appreciated by the High Commissioner of Rwanda, who praised their sensitivity and effort. Her moving speech, drawn from her own experience as a survivor, left a lasting impression on everyone present. It was a day of quiet reflection, emotional learning, and shared humanity.

A Day Behind the Badge: Class VIII Visits Dwarka Police Station

On May 8, 2025, Class VIII students visited Dwarka Sector 23 Police Station. Head Constable Ms. Sarita welcomed them and explained complaint procedures and online safety. The students explored the malkhana, learned about case file storage, and interacted with ASI Satish Yadav, who answered their questions. The visit ended with a thank-you card and plant gifted to the SHO. The experience offered students valuable insights into police duties and civic responsibility.

Exploring Sustainability: TERI Visit

On 19th April 2025, 44 students visited The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), Gurugram, to learn about sustainable technologies. They explored wastewater recycling using Fragmite bamboo, solar-powered Heating and Cooling Tunnels, a Biomass Gasifier, and Vermicomposting. Students were also introduced to tissue culture for modern farming, medicinal plants, solar energy, and rainwater harvesting. The visit showcased innovative eco-friendly solutions, inspiring students to adopt sustainable practices in daily life while promoting a greener future.

United in Legacy: Student Visit to Mandela Katha Mala

On July 18th, ten students from Classes 9 to 12 attended the Nelson Mandela Kathamala event at India International Centre, New Delhi, held to honor Mandela’s legacy as a leader of justice and unity. The attending students included Zyana Thakur, Anushka Sinha, KMVS Prabhakar, and Nathaniel Thomas from Class 9; Anaisha Bhushan from Class 10; Rajini Upreti, Hritvi Rajpal, and Inayat Arora from Class 11; and Divyam Gupta and Bhavya Sharma from Class 12. The program featured performances by various schools, followed by a short parade that fostered pride and a shared sense of purpose among participants. Students were then inspired by speeches from Brigadier General Kevin Moonsamy and a UN representative, whose words resonated deeply. During the interactive session, student representatives shared their views and experiences. After the award ceremony, students had the special opportunity to engage directly with the distinguished guests. The visit was insightful, inspiring, and truly memorable.

A Glimpse into Real-World Science at NII

On April 25th, 2025, some students visited the National Institute of Immunology (NII) under the Science Setu program. They explored advanced labs including the Central Instrumentation Facility, Bioinformatics Centre, and STEM Lab. Interacting with senior scientists, students learned about drug discovery, pipetting, and the precision required in research. Hands-on demos and real-time observations enriched their understanding. The visit ignited scientific curiosity, aligning with the school’s goal of fostering inquiry-based learning and exposing students to real-world applications of classroom science.

History Comes Alive for Humanities Students at PM Sangrahalaya

On 5th May 2025, Grade XI and XII Humanities students visited the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, New Delhi. Through interactive exhibits, they explored key events like the Emergency, Green Revolution, Chandrayaan-3, and India’s constitutional journey. They also learned about leaders like Nehru, Shastri, Desai, and Indira Gandhi. The engaging storytelling and modern displays made history memorable, proving Rudyard Kipling's words true — if taught as stories, history is never forgotten.

Young Minds Explore Science at NSC Delhi

On 30th July 2025, students of Classes VI and VII embarked on an educational trip to the National Science Centre, Delhi. Engaging with exhibits on physics, biology, and energy, they tackled guided questions that deepened their understanding. A highlight was the animated solar system film, sparking lively discussions and curiosity. The visit proved to be a dynamic extension of classroom learning, inspiring students through hands-on exploration and peer interaction.

Educational Trip to ISRO & IIST: A Journey into Space Science

On 19th August 2025, eighteen students from Classes VIII, IX, and XI embarked on an inspiring trip to ISRO, Thumba, where they witnessed the historic RH200 rocket launch marking 60 years of India’s first rocket launch. They explored the Space Museum, Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace, and Kovalam Beach. On 21st August, the visit to IIST, Valiamala, included an enriching interaction with Dr. Kuruvilla Joseph, motivating students to pursue dreams in space research and exploration.

Experiential Learning at SowGood Farms

On 25th August 2025, students of Classes XI and XII (Commerce) visited SowGood Farms for an educational excursion. The day began with an ice-breaker session by Ms. Pragati Chaswal, followed by hands-on activities in harvesting, composting, and farming through a team rotation. Students learnt waste segregation, observed the unique Insects Resort, and practiced sustainable farming techniques. The highlight was preparing pakoras from freshly harvested vegetables and enjoying an organic lunch. The trip offered an engaging blend of fun, learning, and eco-awareness.
