Roller Skating Competition

Reyan Bag represented OPG World School in great spirit while participating  in the 51st Delhi State Roller Skating Championship held at GR International School, Delhi,  under the age group of 7 to 9 years. He triumphed his way to the finals  in three events namely,100m road skating, 500m, and 1000m rink skating.Keep going !!

    A Day of Fun and Learning at Madhavgarh Farms

    Excursions are a wonderful way to make learning come alive for children. They provide hands-on experiences, encourage curiosity, and help young minds connect with the world beyond their classrooms. On 31st January 2025, the students of Grade I and II set off for a fun-filled day at Madhavgarh Farm, eager to explore and learn in a new environment.

    The children had a fantastic time experiencing traditional rural transport, riding on camels, bullock carts, and tractors. Each ride brought excitement and joy, giving them a glimpse into village life. They also took part in adventure activities like the commando net and bouncy house, testing their strength and coordination while having endless fun. The clay pottery session sparked their creativity, and the magic and puppet shows left them wide-eyed with wonder.

     The highlight of the day was the opportunity to witness vibrant folk dance performances. The rhythmic beats and colorful attire captivated the children, immersing them in the rich cultural heritage of rural India. They were fascinated by the graceful movements of the dancers and enjoyed watching the energetic performances. 

    To keep their energy up, the students enjoyed delicious meals and refreshing drinks throughout the day. The excursion ended on a lively note with a dance session, where they danced their hearts out with laughter and enthusiasm.

    This memorable day was more than just a trip—it was an experience filled with joy, learning, and new friendships, making it a cherished memory for all!

      Educational trip to Sultanpur National Park and Yaduvanshi Farms

      On 1st February 2025, the students of Classes III and IV embarked on an exciting and educational trip to Sultanpur National Park and Yaduvanshi Farms. . The day was filled with anticipation as the students prepared for a journey full of discovery and adventure. At Sultanpur, they explored the diverse world of birds, observing both local and migratory species while gaining invaluable insights into the park’s vital conservation efforts.

      The adventure continued at Yaduvanshi Farms, where the students took part in a variety of thrilling activities, including ziplining, Burma Bridge, horse riding, tractor rides, and tug-of-war. Through these activities, they developed valuable life skills such as teamwork, goal-setting, and supporting one another. The day was further enhanced by moments of fun and camaraderie, creating lasting memories with friends. As the day came to a close, the students left with cherished experiences and strengthened bonds, eager for future adventures.

        Where Pages Whisper Secrets

        On 28th January 2025, 31 avid readers visited the prestigious Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Central Library at Jawaharlal Nehru University. The library, housing over six lakh books, offers a wide range of subjects, with systems like text-to-speech and wheelchair-accessible cubicles ensuring inclusivity. Among its treasures is a 14th-century Urdu version of the Ramayana. The students were mesmerized by the library's beauty and vowed to return, either as students or researchers, leaving with a deep sense of admiration for its rich atmosphere.

            Aahana Excels at Delhi Skating Competition!

            We are thrilled to share that Aahana has once again achieved excellence, securing second place in the 6-8 years Girls Inline Skate category at the skating competition held at DDA Sports Complex, Sec 17, Dwarka. This prestigious event was organized by the Delhi Skating Association on February 2, 2025.
