Delhi State Sub Junior Girls Basketball Championship (U-14)

Our young athletes made us proud by participating in the Delhi State Sub Junior Girls Basketball Championship (U-14), held at Wazirabad, Delhi, from 28th August to 21st September 2025.
Representing the school with great enthusiasm and determination were Deetya Vats (8A), Ananya Wahi (8A), Venya Bajaj (8A), Priyanka Kaishtha (7D), Talbiya (7B), Jeevanjot (7C), and Nirvi (7E).
The girls displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Their spirited performance highlighted their commitment to the game and brought immense pride to the school community.

    Proud Moment at the 75th Junior National Basketball ChampionshipI’m

    We are proud to announce that Snatak Brewal, a student of Class 12E, represented our school at the 75th Junior National Basketball Championship, held in Ludhiana, Punjab, from 2nd to 9th September 2025.
    Competing with great enthusiasm and determination, Snatak gained valuable exposure at the national level. His hard work and sportsmanship are a true inspiration to his peers and a moment of pride for our entire school community.
    We congratulate him on this achievement and wish him continued success in his sporting journey!

      Under-14 Zonal Basketball Tournament – Proud Achievement

      We are pleased to announce that our Under-14 Boys’ Basketball Team secured the second position in the Zonal Basketball Tournament held from August 11–13, 2025 at Maxfort School, Dwarka.
      The team showcased commendable skill, teamwork, and determination, advancing strongly through the rounds. In a closely contested final against The Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka, our boys put up an excellent performance but concluded as runners-up.

        Under-19 Boys’ Basketball Team Shines as Zonal Runner-Up

        Our Under-19 boys’ basketball team secured an impressive runner-up position at the zonal tournament held from August 6th to 8th, 2025, at Delhi International School Edge, Dwarka. With excellent teamwork and determination, the team advanced through the rounds and fought a thrilling final against GD Goenka Public School, Sector 10. Representing our school with pride were Snatak Brewal (12 HUM), Rudr Sharma (12 COM), Harshit Bansal (12 COM), Srijan Anand (11 E), Sparsh Gupta (12 A), Tanmay Chopra (12 C), Ganesh Chanda (12 COM), and Bhartesh (12 C). We applaud their outstanding performance!

          Under-17 Zonal Basketball Tournament

          Our Under-17 boys’ basketball team proudly secured second place in the zonal tournament held from August 19–21, 2025, at Shree Ram World School, Dwarka. The team showed remarkable skill and teamwork, culminating in a close final against ITL Public School. Players included Shivam Malik (10 A), Rohan Malik (11 D), Samarthya (9 A), Harshaan (10 C), Daiwik Dahiya (10 B), Aaryan Yadav (11 A), Dhairyash (9 B), Ansh Tiwari (9 A), Rittam (11 A), and Shivin Arora (10 C). We applaud their dedication and sportsmanship.

            Young Word Wizard Shines Bright

            A proud moment for the school as Nysa Raina of Grade IV A secured the Second Position in Word Wizards at Ignited Minds 2025, hosted by Indraprastha International School. Competing with confidence and showcasing her remarkable vocabulary skills, Nysa impressed everyone with her brilliance. Her dedication and hard work truly made her stand out as a young achiever. The school celebrates her success and wishes her many more laurels in the future.

              Tech Triumph at Infinity 2.0

              On 23rd August 2025 , students from OPG World School participated in the Inter-School IT Fest, Infinity 2.0, hosted by Army Public School, Delhi Cantt. The day brought laurels to Siddhant Shinde of Class VIII D who participated in Gamify, the Scratch-based coding competition. His creativity and coding skills earned him the First Position, bringing pride to the school. On the same day, Anuvaansh Batra of Class IX D and Saumya Tyagi of Class X C competed in Web Wiz, the website designing event. Their innovative design and teamwork secured them the Second Position. These outstanding achievements reflect the brilliance, confidence, and competitive spirit of our young tech enthusiasts, who continue to elevate the school’s reputation in the digital arena.

                Rising Star: Yuvraj Singh Phogat Makes School Proud!

                We are delighted to share that Yuvraj Singh Phogat (Class 7B) represented South West Delhi in the Delhi State Sub Junior Basketball Championship (U-14), held from 28th August to 21st September 2025 at Wazirabad, Delhi. With hard work and determination, Yuvraj and his team secured the 3rd position, bringing pride and joy to the school community.
                We congratulate Yuvraj on this achievement and extend special thanks to Coach Mr. Shiv and Coach Mr. Ankit for their invaluable guidance and encouragement.

                  Impressive Achievement by Young Innovators in iCode Global Hackathon 2025
                  Yojit Misra (VI-E), Yajas Gupta (VI-C), Khushee Gupta (III-B), Siddhant Shinde (VIII-D), Siddhi Shinde (VIII-D), Namish Singh Pal (IV-A), Panya Pahuja (XII-Science), Shivansh Avasthi (VI-E), Shaurya Verma (VIII-D), and Kamik Gulia (VII-B) have been awarded the prestigious Certificate of Excellence for their outstanding performance in the iCode Global Hackathon 2025 Qualifier Rounds. Demonstrating exceptional coding skills and innovative thinking, these students secured a position among the top 10% of qualifiers globally. Their remarkable achievement is a testament to their hard work, creativity, and passion for technology at such a young age.

                      Young Champion Shines in Taekwondo Arena

                      Kritish, a bright student of Class I-A, has brought glory to the school with his outstanding achievements in Taekwondo. He secured a Gold Medal at the prestigious India Sports Jeet Kune-Do Championship 2025, held on 31st August, showcasing his talent and determination. Earlier, on 27th July 2025, Kritish bagged a Silver Medal at the South East District Taekwondo Championship 2025, marking another proud moment. His remarkable performance reflects discipline, hard work, and the promise of a budding sports star.

                        Proud Achievement in Roller Skating
                        We are delighted to share that Reyan Bag (Class 3B) has won the Gold Medal in the Open All India Roller Skating Championships 2025, organized by the Delhi Sports Academy. The event was held on 24th August 2025 at Kamal Public School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi.
