Mrs. Swati Malik - HOD (Social Studies)

Ms Swati Malik has done her Bachelors and Masters of Science from the prestigious Miranda House followed by B.Ed from the renowned Department of Education, Delhi University. With many add on courses like Medical biotechnology and ICT in education she believes learning is a continuous process. She is a member of DS Kothari Research Centre sponsored by Department of Biotechnology. During her academic tenure she has taken up various projects concerning environment, be it limnological studies or pesticide degradation. She has also won the prestigious Fab teacher award, 2021. Over my 7+ years of her teaching journey, she has believed and followed in what Dewey said “Education is not an affair of ‘telling’ and being told, but an active and constructive process.” If given conducive and comfortable environment, every child can conquer.
