On 23 December 2025, OPG World School students Vedank Kothari (XI B) and Shouryaveer Singh Rathore (XI D) attended TEDx VIS at Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka. The theme, “Present in Purpose, Purpose in Present”, was explored by eminent speakers including Dr. Shweta Tanwar, Mr. Himanshu Tandon, Ms. Anita Nayyer, Mr. Pulkit Sharma, and keynote speaker Mr. Tapas Dasmohapatra. Through lived experiences, humour, and insights, they emphasized resilience, curiosity, and purposeful living, inspiring reflection and mindfulness among attendees.

Organised by the Dhammika Kai Shito Ryu International Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Sports Federation, the Ring of the King International Karate Championship was held at Talkatora Stadium on 28th December. Ayaansh Bisht of Class 3D delivered an outstanding performance and won the Gold Medal in the competition. His achievement reflects dedication, discipline, and excellence in martial arts, bringing pride and honour to his school and family.

Students of Classes IX and X visited the Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition at Vandana International School as part of an educational excursion. The visit began with a video on ISRO’s history and achievements, followed by a live hydraulic rocket launch demonstration. Students explored exhibits on satellite materials and major missions like Mangalyaan, Chandrayaan, Aditya L1, and NavIC. An interactive session with scientists enriched their understanding and inspired interest in space science and research careers.

क्षेत्रीय स्तर पर प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त कर , सम्पूर्ण राजधानी दिल्ली में द्वितीय स्थान का विजयस्तम्भ स्थापित कर अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाने वाली कक्षा दसवीं की छात्रा ‘अग्रिमा गौर ‘ ने न केवल विद्यालय की बुलंदी में चार चाँद लगा दिए अपितु ‘हिंदी कविता वाचन’ के क्षेत्र में सफलता की विजयपताका शिखर पर लहरा कर यह सिद्ध कर दिया कि ओ ० पी ० जी ० विद्यालय प्रतिभाओं की खान है । अग्रिमा ने यह द्वितीय स्थान दिल्ली के सभी डिस्ट्रिक से प्रथम स्थान हासिल करके राज्य स्तर पर पहुँचने वाले उन चुनिंदा प्रतियोगियों से प्रतिस्पर्धा कर प्राप्त किया है जिनकी प्रतिभा का डंका न केवल उनके विद्यालयों में बल्कि उनकी डिस्ट्रिक में भी गूँजता है । अग्रिमा को उनके स्वर्णिम भविष्य की शुभकामनाएँ ।

Manik Bhatia of Class VII-B secured 3rd place in the Under-14 category of the RSA Cup 2025 Football Tournament, earning a bronze shield and a certificate for his exceptional skills on the field. His energetic gameplay and consistent performance impressed both coaches and spectators, making him one of the standout players of the event. The school congratulates Manik on this remarkable achievement and wishes him continued success in future tournaments.

With immense pleasure, we share that Devansh Sharma of Class 8-D participated in the Gurgaon Youth League Under-13 Football Tournament held in Gurugram. Devansh was an integral part of the team that delivered an outstanding performance and secured the Runner-Up position, proudly bringing home the Silver Cup Trophy and medals.
His dedication, teamwork, and sporting spirit are truly commendable. The school congratulates Devansh and wishes him many more achievements ahead!

An educational excursion for students of Grades 8, 9 and 11 was organised on 8th and 9th December. The trip aimed to enrich students’ understanding of India’s rich heritage. The group visited Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and the iconic Taj Mahal. At each site, the students learned about the historical significance, architectural features and the stories behind the Mughal era monuments. The visit to Fatehpur Sikri offered insights into Akbar’s vision, while the grandeur of the Taj Mahal left everyone in awe. Overall, the excursion proved highly informative and memorable, deepening students’ interest in history and culture.

Yunay Arya of V-E has distinguished herself through her remarkable dedication and passion for reading. Her enthusiasm for exploring new stories and ideas has earned her well-deserved recognition in the NIE – The Times of India – Read India 2025 Challenge, where she emerged as a winner. In acknowledgment of her achievement, Yunay has been awarded the e-certificate of participation and is eligible to receive the NIE goodie bag. Her accomplishment reflects her growing potential and commitment as a future leader and lifelong learner.

On 7th November 2025, 23 students from OPG World School enthusiastically participated in the inter-school painting competition Art Battle hosted by Mt. Saint Mary’s School, Delhi Cantonment. Participants from the Junior, Middle and Senior sections showcased remarkable creativity. We are delighted to announce that Jiya Juneja (XII-E) and Shreyash (VIII-A) secured First Prizes in their respective categories. The event proved to be an enriching, inspiring and highly motivating experience for all involved.
