War of Words Inter-House Debate Competition: Showcasing Confidence, Clarity, and Critical Thinking

On 13th February 2026, students from Grades IV and V participated enthusiastically in the ‘War of Words’ Inter-House Debate Competition, confidently showcasing their ideas and speaking skills. The event began with Yunay Arya (V E) and Rushika Bhatia (V A), who shared valuable debating tips they had learned at the IIT Delhi Debating Bootcamp. Grade IV students presented well‑reasoned arguments on “Learning through videos is better than learning through books,” while Grade V participants engaged in a thoughtful debate on “Hard work plays a greater role than luck in achieving success in life,” supporting their views with real‑life examples. The competition provided a meaningful platform for students to develop critical thinking, logical reasoning, and public speaking skills, while leaving the audience impressed by their confidence and clarity of expression.
