Contours of Heritage: A Creative Showcase

 

On the occasion of the International Day of Monuments and Sites, ITIHAAS hosted a drawing competition at the historic Red Fort, New Delhi on 18th April 2026.
Five students from the school participated, artistically interpreting the heritage of Hampi through innovative visual presentations. Their work reflected commendable creativity and cultural insight.
The event proved intellectually stimulating, fostering aesthetic sensibility, research aptitude, and a deeper appreciation of India’s rich architectural legacy.

    Charting the Future: Inspiring Goal-Setting Session

     

    A dynamic ‘Goal Setting’ session was conducted on 17th April 2026 for Grades X–XII by Dr. Pooja Khanna. Through interactive activities, students explored the concept of VIP—Values, Interests, and Personalities—and learned to align their goals with their strengths. The session emphasized meaningful, realistic goal-setting and informed career choices. Active participation and thoughtful discussions made it an enriching experience, inspiring students to reflect on their aspirations and take confident steps toward their future.

      Academic Honors Ceremony 2025–26

      The school organised its Academic Honors Ceremony on April 13 for Classes 4–6 and April 15 for Classes 7–9 and 11. Students securing 80% and above were felicitated with certificates for subject proficiency, improvement, and consistent effort.
      The Chairperson graced the occasion and presented the awards. Parents were also informed about key initiatives, including the Greece student exchange programme and the installation of solar panels, reflecting the school’s commitment to global learning and sustainability.
      The ceremony concluded with applause, celebrating both academic excellence and holistic development.

        Charting Futures with FABLE

        On 15th April, 2026, the students of class 11th & 12th, attended an engaging career guidance session conducted by Mr. Vidur Sharma from IMS Learning Resources on FABLE—Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, and Economics. Students explored pathways like BFIA, BMS, BBA, IPMAT, and IIM programs. Emphasis was placed on the “Fab Four” skills—Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, Vocabulary, and General Knowledge. The session concluded with an aptitude test, inspiring reflection and readiness for competitive futures.

          Students Shine at Inter-School Yogathon

          ​Our students delivered a stellar performance at the NK Bagrodia School Yogathon on 6 April 2026.

          Demonstrating exceptional discipline and skill, Kusum Shokeen (7-Vayu) secured 1st Position (Gold) in the 8–12 years category, while Raghav (6-Jal) earned 2nd Position (Silver) in the 12–17 years category.

          ​These achievements reflect our school’s commitment to physical fitness and holistic development. We congratulate our champions and wish them continued success in their journey of excellence.

            Startup Club Session

            The inaugural session of the Startup Club, conducted by Mr. Ankit Garg on 13 April 2026, proved insightful and engaging. He introduced the club’s vision and inspired students to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. A key highlight was his explanation of frugal innovation, emphasizing how impactful ideas can emerge despite limited resources. He addressed startup challenges, including funding, competition, and execution. Interactive activities encouraged students to generate unique business ideas. Overall, the session motivated participants to think creatively and confidently explore entrepreneurship.

              Echoes of Memory: Art and Awareness at Kwibuka32

              The Kwibuka32 commemoration at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on April 7, 2026, profoundly blended art with historical reflection. Student-created paintings vividly portrayed the emotional scars of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. H.E. Jacqueline Mukangira’s poignant address and personal insights deepened understanding beyond textbooks, illuminating the realities of conflict and resilience. The event fostered empathy, global awareness, and a renewed commitment among students to promote peace, unity, and responsible dialogue in an increasingly interconnected world.

                Insights into Digital Marketing & Entrepreneurship with Mr. Munish Nanda

                The Startup Club hosted an engaging session on April 6, 2026, led by Mr. Munish Nanda, founder of Traction Studios, Dubai. He shared his professional journey from Delhi University to launching a digital media enterprise. A growth marketing expert, Mr. Nanda demonstrated how AI tools like ChatGPT and Meta enhance revenue and audience reach. This interactive workshop combined professional insights with practical tasks, offering students an application-oriented learning experience. The session was highly enriching, leaving participants with a dynamic understanding of the evolving digital landscape.

                  From Classrooms to Cultures: A Learning Expedition in Greece

                  As part of an international exchange programme, students of OPG World School visited Greece, where they received a warm welcome at the host school. They attended orientation sessions, participated in presentations, and experienced classroom learning, gaining insight into the Greek education system. Collaboration with local students promoted teamwork and cultural exchange. Visits to Patras and Missolonghi, along with museums and historical sites, deepened their understanding of ancient civilisations. Cultural activities and interactions further enriched the experience, fostering global exposure and lasting friendships.

                    Aahana Gupta Shines with Double Silver at Roller Skate Race 2026


                    Aahana Gupta of Class III (Prithvi) achieved remarkable success at the Roller Skate Race 2026, conducted by the Delhi Skating Association on 4th–5th April 2026. Competing with participants from across Delhi, she secured two silver medals in the 3-lap rink race and 1-lap road race in the inline skating (girls, 8–10 years) category. OPG World School takes pride in nurturing her talent and applauds her dedication, confidence, and outstanding performance.

                      Maanav Mukund of Class VII-Jal showcased exceptional talent at the DPDL Football Tournament, representing BBFS Dwarka. In the quarterfinals held on 5 April 2026, his remarkable performance played a crucial role in securing his team’s victory. Demonstrating skill, determination, and teamwork, Maanav stood out among all players and was deservedly adjudged “Player of the Match.” His achievement is a proud moment and an inspiration for fellow students aspiring to excel in sports.
