On 11th October 2025, OPG World School lit up with festive joy during its annual Diwali Mela – Prakāśa. The event brought together students, parents, and visitors for a vibrant evening filled with fun, music, and celebration.

The game stalls, student-led food stall “Crisp and Sip”, and the Thrift Store promoting sustainability drew great enthusiasm. The photo booth captured precious memories, while the jam session, Tambola, and musical chairs added to the festive cheer.

The school band won hearts with soulful performances, the lucky draw built excitement, and the pottery corner let visitors create their own festive diyas. From food to games, music to art, Prakāśa beautifully captured the essence of Diwali — joy, togetherness, and celebration.

The school celebrated Diwali with the theme “Sparks of Change: Towards a Green Diwali”, highlighting the importance of sustainability and eco-friendly practices. The special assembly began with an inspiring speech encouraging students to avoid crackers, minimize plastic use, and celebrate responsibly.
A thought-provoking podcast shed light on the harmful effects of firecrackers on the environment, health, and animals. Students then presented soulful renditions of “Heal the World” and a festive Diwali song, followed by a skit that powerfully depicted the impact of unsustainable celebrations. An interactive quiz further engaged the audience, reinforcing the message of environmental consciousness.
The event concluded with a strong call to action—embracing green alternatives, gifting plants, and reducing pollution—making Diwali not only joyful but also kinder to the planet.

Students of our school showcased their scientific curiosity and creativity at the Art of Science Interschool Competition held on 18th July 2025 at Mount Carmel School, Anand Niketan. The event featured three categories—Symposium, Quiz, and Exhibition—across different groups. Our students brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performances: Shresth Shaw and Reyaansh Leekha (VIII D) secured First Position in Symposium; Vihan Chaturvedi and Chaitanya Mann (VIII D) bagged Second Position in Quiz; while Siddhi Shinde, Siddhant Shinde (VIII D), Tanmay Chopra, and Mohammad Owais Sayed achieved Third Position in Exhibition.

OPG World School organized A Day with Alumni, an enriching interactive session for the students of Class XII. The event brought together alumni from diverse professional backgrounds including interior design, law, engineering, medicine, commerce, music, aviation, and chartered accountancy. Each alumnus shared valuable insights from their respective fields, offering students a glimpse into real-world experiences beyond academics. The session was highly engaging as students eagerly asked questions about career choices, essential skills, challenges, and the practical aspects of professional life. The alumni also shared guidance on how to align one’s interests with future goals and emphasized the importance of adaptability and continuous learning.

Lunch was followed by delightful photo sessions that captured the joyous reunions and memorable interactions.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving students motivated and better informed about the vast spectrum of career opportunities ahead.

On 23rd September 2025, the Inter-House India Quiz for Grades IV–V brought together enthusiasm, knowledge, and patriotism. Students displayed sharp wit and quick thinking as they delved into India’s rich history, vibrant culture, and remarkable achievements. Engaging rounds such as Guess the Famous Personality, Clue to the Monument, Emoji Yatra, Mind Mingle, and Rapid Shots created a lively atmosphere, blending fun with learning. The event not only celebrated India’s legacy but also inspired students to cherish and take pride in their nation’s heritage.

As part of India Month celebrations, an Inter-House competition titled ‘Voices of Vision’ was held for Grade IV on 26th September 2025 on the theme “Celebrating Freedom by Embracing Our Civic Duties.” The event encouraged students to share their views on the importance of responsible citizenship and civic duties in nation-building.
Through expressive and thoughtful presentations, the young speakers showcased how every citizen’s contribution helps shape a stronger and more progressive India.

OPG World School hosted a Blood Donation Camp on 4th October 2025, bringing together parents, staff, and students in a powerful act of service and compassion.
The event, a student-led initiative, collected 53 units of blood, symbolizing hope and humanity. It reflected OPG’s belief that true leadership grows from kindness, empathy, and action.
The drive ended on a heartwarming note — with lives touched, spirits lifted, and a community united for a cause that truly matters.

We are proud to announce that Shaashvika Yadav of Class 3E has achieved an outstanding milestone by securing International Rank 2 in the prestigious CREST Spelling Olympiad. Her remarkable dedication, strong vocabulary, and consistent efforts have earned her this well-deserved recognition on a global platform. On 27th September 2025, a group of 11 students from our school visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, for an enriching exposure to the medical field.
The programme included hands-on training in CPR, dental and eye screenings, and visits to departmental exhibits showcasing advancements in biomedical sciences, diagnostic technologies, and treatment methods. Students also interacted with medical professionals, gaining valuable career insights and a deeper understanding of healthcare innovations.
The visit proved to be both educational and inspiring, motivating students to explore future opportunities in medicine and research while fostering respect for the field of healthcare.

We are proud to announce that our students—Siddhi Kaira (Class 9B), Riddhi Kaira (Class 9C), Riddhi Mahajan (Class 10B), and Drishti Sehrawat (Class 9B), actively participated in the Delhi State Senior Basketball Championship 2025–26, held at Wazirabad, Delhi.
