OPG World School successfully hosted its Annual Sports Day on 1 November 2026, resonating with immense enthusiasm and exemplary teamwork. The grand event was graced by esteemed guests, including Arjuna Awardee and international athlete Ms. M. R. Poovamma, international basketball player Mr. Harsh Dagar, and Guest of Honour Dr. Angela Khanna, alongside the enthusiastic presence of proud parents and the school community. The celebration commenced with an exciting exhibition soccer match, the ceremonial lighting of the torch, and a synchronized March Past. Ms. Poovamma and Mr. Harsh Dagar officially declared the athletic meet open amidst the release of colorful balloons. The programme proceeded with the Principal’s address and a felicitation ceremony honoring students for their outstanding achievements in academics and sports. The day featured captivating student performances, including an intricate yoga flow, an umbrella drill, and a high-energy flag and basketball, and Zumba and Aerobics display, alongside competitive track and field events across all categories. The event concluded with the awarding of race medals and the announcement of prestigious house trophies, celebrating true sportsmanship.
