Constitution Quiz

A ‘Constitution Quiz’ was organised by the students of class XI on 21 November’22; to honour the Indian Constitution Day observed on 26th November. It was conducted as an Inter-house event in two groups. The questions were from the framing of the constitution to the latest amendments made. Students enthusiastically supported their houses. The senior group witnessed a tough competition and eventually a tie between Green and Yellow house. Yellow house won the tie breaker  round ultimately winning the quiz. The junior round was won by Blue house.

    OPG ranked in the Top 500 schools in India!

    ‘Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution.’
    It is a proud moment for the school for being ranked in the Top 500 schools in India in the categories of Excellence in Innovative Practices, Best Academic Excellence School, Excellence in Sports Education, Excellence in Digital Technology Initiative, for enriching the standards in imparting excellence in education to the GenNext learners.
    The award was presented at the prestigious 10th  Brainfeed National Conference at ET TECH X. The accomplishment is indeed the reflection of our belief in pursuit of excellence and consistent hard work.

      Second position in Sub Junior Boys Zonal -Football Tournament

      Government Co-Ed School, Sector 22, Dwarka organised Sub Junior Boys Zonal -Football Tournament, From 10th November to 14th November 2022. We are delighted that OPG World School, Dwarka grabbed the Second Position in the event!

        Children’s Day celebrated with full zest and zeal at OPG World School !

        Children’s Day celebrated with full zest and zeal at OPG World School on 14 Nov 2022; with a lively show by the teachers in the form of a mesmerizing song and a beautiful dance performance. Students were in for a lunch break surprise with cake-cutting ceremony. A fun movie was arranged  for classes VI to VII. Students had just the most eventful day they always wanted!

          MODEL UNITED NATIONS - Dhanya Sangwan (Best Delegate), Aditya Panda (Best Photographer)

          Students of OPG WORLD SCHOOL, Dwarka participated in The NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL-MODEL UNITED NATIONS. Dhanya Sangwan of X B was awarded the Best Delegate award with a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 5000!
          Aditya Panda of X B was awarded the Best Photographer with a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 5000.
          Prabhnoor Kaur of X A received the second Special Mention.

            Annual Cultural Extravaganza - Class I

            OPG World School presented once again an enthralling display of creative expression by the children of Grade I for the Annual Cultural Extravaganza held on 5th November, 2022.

            The celebrations began with the inaugural lighting of the lamp followed by the invocation dance by our young students. The Annual Report giving a view of the school’s initiative in the present academic year was shared with parents. The presentation giving a glimpse of what returning to physical school has been like for the young learners after almost a gap of 2 years, indeed left the audience spellbound. The confidence and fluency with which students presented their speaking acts impressed one and all. The highlight of the day was the musical ensemble ‘The Hare and the Genie’ unveiling the magical world of genies and their astounding power. The children swept the audience off their feet by their amazing foot tapping dances, innovative costumes and dramatics.

            The programme concluded with the powerful song – ‘I have a dream’ sung by our little ones. It was truly a joyous occasion for all present to watch and be a part of this happy day.

              Winners of Inter-school Competition 'Ripples'

              Students of OPG World School participated in ‘The Ripples’ inter-school competition conducted by MBS International School. Theme for this year was 'Sustainable Living'.
              Prithvi Verma (class X) and Kangana Taneja (class IX) participated in The Radio Jockey event and bagged the First position. 
              Naitik Sharma (class VII) and Ayush Kumar (class VIII) participated in Eco Guru, a quizzing event and secured the Third position. 
              Irene, Vedanti and Aaryan (class VI) participated in Tell a Tale, a story telling event which was composed and narrated on the spot; and won the Third position.
              Roop Solanki (class V) bagged Third prize in Poetry Presentation.

                STS MUN '22

                STS MUN'22 was a two day conference organized by St. Thomas School, Dwarka on 3rd and 4th November’22. It was a place where delegates debated, questioned and made policies on various world crises. Students gained a better understanding of the inner workings of the United Nations and built skills in diplomacy, compromise and decision making, so they are now more capable to bring changes and solve problems in future.                   Annual Cultural Extravaganza - Class II

                  OPG World School presented yet another amazing display of artistic expression by the children of Grade II for the Annual Cultural Extravaganza held on October 29th, 2022, appreciating and embracing the beauty in uniqueness.

                  The celebrations unravelled with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by the invocation dance to seek the blessings of the Almighty. The Annual Report of the school’s initiative in the present academic year was shared with parents. The presentation giving a glimpse of what returning to physical school has been like for the young learners after almost a gap of 2 years, indeed left the audience spellbound. The confidence and fluency with which students presented their speaking acts was a visual treat and enthralled one and all. The highlight of the day was the musical ensemble ‘The boy in the jungle’ unveiling the chronicles of a young boy’s adventures. The brilliant choreography, the upbeat music and the spirit of the students really lifted the audience off their feet! The programme concluded with the incredible song – ‘You raise me up.’ It was indeed a joyous moment for the parents and teachers to watch and be a part of this gala day.

                    CRYPTS TECHFEST 2022
                    ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step’

                    The year 2022 brought together a team of young techies who jointly hosted the Techfest at OPG called - The Crypts. The founding members of Crypts-  Akshat Jain, Dhimant Tiwari , Manas Joshi, Aansh Kapoor, Aadi Jain and Rishab Arora- exhibited brilliant team work, meticulous planning  and execution to make the event a success.

                    The motive of this event was to develop various skills of students in Co-Curricular activities and to expose them to the current trends in the technical and professional fields. It consisted of multiple competitions which were conducted in the IT Lab. Students enthusiastically participated in events like chess, typing race, trivia and Wikipedia race, not to mention our exuberant gamers who participated in online games like Minecraft and Brawlhalla aswell. The submission based events like memetics – where students had to make memes, web designing and scratch received an overwhelming response and was a magnificent success due to interest and passion in these fields.

                    The event was not limited to student participation, even the parents were given an opportunity to participate in the Logo Designing Competition. Team Crypts was pleasantly surprised with the enthusiasm shown by our parent community !
