Mal Pancoast very rightly mentioned, “We invent the world through language. The world occurs through language.” Children, we believe, are the greatest inventors. And it is Language through which they are able to communicate their ideas confidently, in the most lucid manner. OPG World School lays great emphasis not just on language development but also on achieving perfection in all four skills of Language-- Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

Hence, the school, along with Carnegie Mellon University; conducted the Speech Fluency Test for children of Grades I-VI. Carnegie Mellon University is a world-class global research university in Pennsylvania, USA that was established in 1900. They are pioneers in the field of Humanities, Education and Research.

The Test was an initiative to understand the child's current Speaking Skill ability in an unbiased and comprehensive way. This would help in individualizing the Speaking Skill curriculum and bring finesse to overall language learning.

We feel delighted to inform you that OPG World School claimed a position in the Top 10 schools, with the competition being pan-India.

The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition is the world's oldest international writing competition for schools, established in 1883. With thousands of young people taking part each year, it is an important way to recognise achievement, elevate youth voices and develop key skills through creative writing. For 2021 the Competition theme was Community in the Commonwealth.

We feel delighted and immensely proud of Renelle Vij of Class IX who has been awarded the Silver Award.
