Farewell - Batch of 2018-19

‘Though you must leave your refuge, to enter life now; fond memories dwell.’

On that note, OPG World School bid a memorable adieu to its outgoing batch on 19th February 2019. The auditorium was alight with fairy lights. The event began with a heart-warming and inspiring address by the Principal, Ms. Namrata Datta.  A flashback video -‘Moments’, captured the batch’s entire school journey and made the students extremely nostalgic with bittersweet memories. The senior school teachers presented a karaoke and a dance performance that lightened the atmosphere. Class XI students also presented a medley of performances interspersed with titles given to the outgoing batch. Vice Chairperson, Ms. Neena Chandra, felicitated the students with souvenirs and blessed them to remain good forerunners of the school. Hearts were filled with infinite emotions as the western music teachers enchanted everyone with the tunes of Elton John and Tracy Chapman. The most awaited titles of Mr. OPG and Ms. OPG were given away to Daksh Pandey and Sakshi Verma, respectively. The candle ceremony highlighted the turnover of responsibilities and transfer of knowledge from the seniors to the juniors. While everyone was touched by parting speeches by the head boy and the head girl, the photo-booth made for a perfect  panorama to capture their last memories together. Students parted with hugs and warm wishes for a successful future.
