On 18 July 2026, the Commerce Department organized an industrial visit to Moon Beverages Ltd., Coca-Cola’s second-largest plant, famously called the “Happiness Factory.” Students explored the fully automated production process, from manufacturing and bottling to packaging, with minimal human intervention. They also learned how Coca-Cola concentrate travels from Atlanta to Pune before reaching this facility. The visit showcased product lines like Maaza, Limca, and Thums Up, while offering insights into Coca-Cola’s brand legacy, acquisitions, and modern business operations. Overall, the experience proved highly enriching and broadened students’ practical understanding of industry practices.
